Hi, my name is Chris. I'm from the US and my question is have I ever had anything stolen?

As a matter of fact I have had something stolen, a variety of things stolen actually. I was traveling in Spain and I had my passport with me and my wallet and a number of other items and it was on a very crowded subway car and I think it was probably a team of thieves that were working together to snatch my things. You get pushed one way, jostled one way and then while you're distracted someone will take your things. And it was a pretty big hassle trying to recover from that because I lost my passport and I also lost my money, my driver's license, I lost a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert ticket that I had bought and I had to go to the Embassy to get my passport replaced first of all. And some of the other things, of course, the concert ticket, I didn't end up going. I had a great time there but that one day certainly wasn't a very pleasant experience for me.
